This table piggybacks off the official tracker provided by the Jeopardy! producers.
Included are players who made their last appearance between November 17, 2025 and July 24, 2026, covering 130 regular-play games, as well as players who qualify automatically by virtue of tournament victories (CJ = Celebrity Jeopardy!).
It's expected that this ToC will be played in early 2027, with its postseason starting toward the end of 2026. While the show has announced that the cutoff for qualification to this ToC was at the end of Season 42, no information about its size or format has been made avaulable.
On January 19, 2026, the show announced that Stella Trout, first runner-up in Season 42 Champions Wildcard, was granted qualification into this Tournament of Champions. This is due to a bad ruling against her on a Daily Double in the second game of the final of that event.
Mina Kimes's winnings were donated to her designated charity, SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition.
